Absolute pandemonium.
The Dáil was forced to stop for five minutes on Wednesday afternoon after an argument broke out between Independent TD’s Danny Healy-Rae and Michael Healy-Rae and Fianna Fáil’s Marc MacSharry.
Leas Ceann Comhairle Pat ‘The Cope’ Gallagher had to close up shop altogether after the heated debate began and we haven’t seen such scandal in the Dáil since this…
It all came to blows when Danny Healy-Rae raised the issue of farmers being given no payment after commonages were burned.
Michael Healy-Rae wanted to talk about the same issue but was asked if he had a card to do so.
Then, MacSharry stated that Michael Healy-Rae wanting to talk about the same issue interrupted the order of business and thus began, the shouting match.

If you can make out any of the inaudible roaring you’ll be doing great but Michael Healy-Rae shouting ‘that’s outrageous’ can be heard loud and clear alright.
Like little school children who knew they had overstepped the mark, all three TD’s stopped shouting the minute Gallagher decided to ring the bell for the last time.
Bit unfair on MacSharry tbh, two against one…
