Dramatic Image Shows Cyclone Heading For Ireland This Weekend

James Fenton

Go home, 2018, you’re quite clearly pissed.

This year has already brought blizzards, drought and some of the highest temperatures in years to Ireland and with five months left, who knows what else is on the way.

Whatever about the long-term, we might want to be wary of what’s heading towards us this weekend. Carlow Weather has posted an image on Facebook which shows a cyclone moving in from the Atlantic which could bring ‘much needed, if not wanted by all, rain to Ireland.’

The post goes on to say ‘it will feel much cooler in Carlow Saturday than any day in the last 2 months with temps struggling to get above 17c and strong breeze.

Chance of more heavy rain Saturday night with showers Sunday and strong breeze remaining but a little milder.’

Netflix weekend, anyone?
