A man in his 50s is “very lucky” to be alive after his SUV crashed into steel railings and flipped over in Limerick today.
The driver was on the Childers Road near the John Carew Junction Link Road at 12.45pm when witnesses say he swerved to avoid a dog.
Limerick Leader say Gardai and three units of Limerick City Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, and that the man was treated by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
