Driving tests are set to resume next week and learner permits have been extended.
Department of Transport has confirmed that the service will gradually re-open from Monday.
Fourteen centres will reopen on June 29 with the remaining 38 gradually following.
The centres have been suspended since March 13 and this will be welcome news for those who are waiting.
When the centres reopen, there will be some protocols in place during the driving tests to stop the spread of coronavirus.
For instance, both members of staff and the drivers will have to wear face masks.
They have also extended learner permits which were set to expire between July 1 and October 31 by four months.
