No rummaging in the back of the sofa for bus change for these hardworking business moguls – they’ve got BILLIONS to their name.

With about 2,500 people on the list, eight Irish men have made it.

#215 John Grayken – $6.6b

What does he do? Private Equity (mostly real estate).

#348 Denis O’Brien – $4.7b

What does he do? Telecomms, a.k.a he’s a cell phone and media tycoon.

#745 John Dorrance III. – $2.7b

What does he do? He owns Campbell’s Soup, yo.

#1030 Dermot Desmond – $2b

What does he do? Finance. Duh.

#1234 Martin Naughton – $1.7b

What does he do? Heating Equipment.

#1795 John Collison – $1.1b

What does he do? Co-Founder of Stripe tech company. And he’s only 27!

#1795 Patrick Collison – $1.1b

What does he do? Co-Founder of Stripe tech company. And he’s only 29!
