Claire Byrne will host a referendum special with high-profile campaigners from both sides on Claire Byrne Live tonight.
Viewers will see Catholic author and Iona Insititute spokesperson Maria Steen, Obstetrician Dr. John Monaghan and Fianna Fáil TD Mary Butler speak on behalf of the No side.
Monaghan is part of the Medical Alliance for the Eighth group and has claimed the eighth has never prevented him from saving a woman’s life.
And on the yes side, viewers will hear from former Master of The Maternity Hospital, Holles Street and current chair of the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Peter Boylan, Sinn Féin TD Mary Lou McDonald and Together for Yes Co-Director, Orla O’Connor.
Boylan has already refuted a number of the claims made on the No side.
The programme will also have questions from the live studio audience. The broadcaster has said it intends the audience to be split evenly between pro-choice and pro-life supporters.
