Eileen Dunne and David McCullagh apologise live on air for attendance at an RTÉ function.
Photographs from a retirement function in RTÉ appeared in The Irish Sun yesterday which featured some of the high-profile members of RTÉ.
The broadcaster has since issued apologies along with some of the staff.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin said that the photos were very disappointing to see.
Last night, Eileen Dunne and David McCullagh took the opportunity live on air to issue their apologies.
Eileen began the statement by saying ‘hands up, as you’ve seen, I was too photographed at the farewell’.
