We’ve been blessed with the weather this week but like all nice things in life it’s set to come to an abrupt end before we can properly enjoy it. Sigh.
After another pleasant day today with expected highs of 17 degrees, temperatures will drop to as low as one degree tomorrow night. ‘Persistent rain’ will then arrive on Friday before things really take a turn on Saturday.
Met Éireann is forecasting ‘windy or possibly stormy weather with some severe gusts’ while Carlow Weather backs this up by saying ‘Saturday looks wet and very windy with a risk of a storm tracking near the northwest of Ireland.’
That should be the worst of it though as Sunday is expected to be ‘drier and calmer with some bright or sunny spells.’
Netflix Saturday and some fresh air on Sunday, so. A full outlook for the days ahead can be found here.
