7 Irish Holy Grail Beauty Products You Need In Your Life

katedemolder

Irish beauty products are really having a moment.

You’ll know that from having a flick through any magazine or beauty blog out at the moment, but we’ve decided to put them to the test. And we’ve found 7 products that we simply won’t leave home without.

PS; These products are useful for females, males, children, adults and every one in between – trust us, we got the boys in the office to try these out too. And they loved them.

1. Skin Oils – Bare Chic Skin

Hailing from Galway, Bare Chic Skin boasts hand blended and hand poured ingredients, none of which they outsource. One of the most organic of the bunch, these serums and oils are exactly what you need to perk up dry, tired skin.

We have some at the in our desks in work – keeps our skin looking nice and fresh, even when we’re wilting and laden down with deadlines.

Also, the packaging is a minimalist’s dream. I mean…

2. Exfoliator – VOYA

Organic beauty company, VOYA, comes from County Sligo and is stocked in some of the most luxurious spas in the world. It’s even bagged itself a deal with Emirates as of late! So you know it’s legit.

What’s super dreamy about VOYA is that it caters to all skin types. Yep, even yours.

We’re obsessed with the enzyme facial exfoliator, which uses pineapple acids and white willow herb. Dreamy.

3. Essential Oils – Flora & Fiona

A must-buy for believers in aromatherapy.

Flora & Fiona is run by brand consultant Fiona Hedigan, who really, really knows what she’s talking about. Built around the powers of scents and aromas, these products will invigorate you, mellow you out, and make you feel super confident.

I, myself, found hope in a sleepless place with the handy travel-size ‘Vetiver and jasmine essential oils’. They really work.

4. Body Balm & Face Serum – Nía

Nía means radiance in Irish. And you would have to be pretty sure of your product to call it radiance, wouldn’t you?

Using natural healthy butters and oils together with vitamin rich superfoods, using these products is basically a full workout and detox for your body. Except, without the burpees and celery sticks. Hurray!

I, personally, use the body balm religiously (it’s heaven after a bath) and the face serum every night before bed.

5. Organic Rosewater – Atlantic Aromatics

The most diverse beauty product on the market.

Can be used as a cleanser, toner, perfume, sleep-enhancer, face refresher AND it can be added to rashes, burns or acne to cool the inflammation down. All in a tiny, make-up-bag-size bottle!

For €7.95, Atlantic Aromatics‘ Organic Rosewater is a total game-changer. Never leave home without it.

6. Ingrown Hair Pads – Waxperts

An absolute miracle product if there ever was one.

As a sufferer of ingrown hairs for as long as I can remember, I, personally, can vouch that Waxperts‘ pads actually work. I have since gotten all of my friends hooked on them, like some sort of Ingrown Hair Pads dealer.

AND, due to their high levels of salicylic acid, they can also be used to draw out blackheads. Just dab on affected areas before bed and watch your skin become the best its ever been.

7. And finally, Cleansing Oil – Kinvara

Growing up, we in the office tried every type of acne cure under the sun. And as an avid believer that cleansers, creams and beauty products do nothing in terms of clear skin, I was pleasantly surprised with the Kinvara Cleansing Oil.

Adding oil to an already oily area may sound chaotic, but it absolutely works – and here are some pictures to prove it.

A beauty product staple for any one who suffers from the odd blemish or two. And at €22.95, you could be doing a lot worse.
