The rooms themselves are spacious, and with a hint of a Japanese influence. It's been described as a hidden gem, specialising in the little things such as their homemade blackberry jam and providing wellies and raincoats to guests wanting a walk, as well as the bigger gestures of providing boat hire to float across the magnificent lake.

The grounds are expansive and lush, the staff are willing to go to the ends of the Earth for you, and the rooms boast some of the most comfortable beds in the whole of Cork.

The food is top notch, living up to its impressive 5* status, with everything and anything you could want for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But what really sets it apart from the rest? The sky garden. A truly unique experience, breath-taking under a starry sky.
