Creepy. Very creepy.
This story from the Limerick Leader has gotten us feeling pretty spooked.
Over thirty years after the moving statue phenomenon in Ballinspittle happened, what can be described as an unusual and somewhat alarming sighting of what is believed to be an image of the Virgin Mary has drawn attention County Limerick.
The alleged vision is in shadow form on the front of a house in Riverview Estate, Kilmallock. It first appeared at around 11pm on Thursday night.
Within an hour of its arrival, up to 50 people had gathered from far and wide outside the two-storey home, to say prayers and light candles, at what people believe to be an image of Holy Mary.
A local priest was called late that night to give his two cents.
While a lot of the people who turned up to view the ‘apparition’ are convinced the sighting is of Our Lady, others believe it to be a direct result of the drop in temperatures overnight.
One local smiled while saying: “I think it has to be ice.”
Likely…
