The Cork Fire Brigade are on the scene

Cork

This could have ended very badly.

Cork Fire Brigade are currently tending to a scene on Morrison's Quay in Cork City, where slabs of concrete fell from the front facade of the closed-down Moore's Hotel on to the footpath below.

Thankfully nobody was injured in the incident, but traffic has been closed off in the area, and diversions are currently in place.
