This Wicklow Georgian House Is The Most Idyllic Place We’ve Ever Seen

Sarah

Just in time for some envious imaginary house-hunting is this gorgeous 1800’s seven bedroom house in the Wicklow countryside.

Tigroney House “is a magnificent Georgian country residence complete with gate lodge and outbuildings set on approximately 100 acres of mature woodland and grazing lands in a spectacular setting in the Vale of Avoca overlooking the Avoca River.”

A front porch leads to a main foyer (this place is waaay to fancy to call it a ‘hall’), with a sweeping staircase that’s pretty Gone With The Wind-ish and amazing.

This leads through to an utterly gorgeous lounge with original cornice ceiling features, a marble fireplace and French Doors looking out over the garden.

We’re in love – can’t you just imagine sipping on some cold Pimms in here?

There’s also an ultra modern kitchen with white brickwork and a cool sort of Scandi style that is making us weak at the knees.

A master bedroom upstairs has a marble fireplace, and a balcony, while the rest of the rooms also have gorge views of the countryside.

Bathroom is pretty slick too eh? Very slick in fact.

Outside the main house are spacious gardens that enjoy breath taking views, with many mature trees and shrubs, and a walled garden with pretty flowers.

The house is surrounded by woodland and the Avoca river runs through the land, making this an ideal retreat for fishing or weekend walks.

Not only is the main house absolutely stunning, there’s also a stone built cottage on site with a woodburning stove and five whitewashed buildings in the Courtyard.

*Heart Eye Emoji* for this entire property someone PLEASE please please just let us live here?

Only downside: This gaff costs €1,600,000. Oh. Oh well.
