Here’s Why Some Very Popular Bars Have Been Urgently Recalled In Ireland

Darragh Berry

The extremely popular Fulfil protein bars have been recalled on the Irish market this week.

Makers of the bars have issued the recall over fears that they may contain plastic pieces.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland confirmed that certain batches of Fulfil’s White Chocolate and Cookie Dough Vitamin and Protein Bar are involved in the recall.

Those affected have a batch code L7318/J and their best before date is 15 February 2019.

The bars were sold in Holland and Barrett stores in Ireland. No other products or batch codes are affected by this recall.

The news comes just a couple of days after Lidl recalled two of their most popular products due to Allergen fears.

If you have any of these items in your house, do not consume them and bring them back to the shop where they were bought immediately.
