These Are Hands Down The Funniest Memes Of 2017

2017 so far has been a messy year, with loads of horrible things going on you’d think that there was nothing good left in the world, but memes are still a thing and the day memes die is the day we all die.

So to help you all get through the week here are the funniest memes of 2017 so far.

January – Salt Bae

Salt Bae is the name given to Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe who went viral after posting a video of him flamboyantly sprinkling salt onto steak.

February – Roll Safe

Roll Safe is a screenshot from a web series called “Hood Documentary”, the photo is usually captioned with a joke about failure or making poor decisions.

March – White Guy Blinking

Okay so this meme has been around since 2015 but didn’t become viral until March 2017, it originated from the GiantBomb video ‘Unprofession Fridays’ and as of recently is one of the most popular reaction gifs.

April – Kendall’s Pepsi Ad

After every single scandal will always and forever have memes following it, so when Kendall Jenner’s controversial Pepsi ad came out there was memes making fun of it left right and centre.

May – Mocking Spongebob

Everybody knows the show Spongebob Squarepants, but little did we think that our favourite sponge acting like a chicken would turn into one of the biggest memes this year.

June – The Floor Is ___

The floor is ___ came from the game the floor is lava (someone says the floor is lava at any moment and you have 5 seconds to climb or stand on something) and… well its just a meme now.

July – HotDog Man

When Snapchat released a HotDog dancing man filter the internet went into overdrive, he had his own merchandise, he was one of the most famous memes of 2017.

August – Hey There Demons

The most recent meme ‘hey there demons’ comes from a Buzzfeed Unsolved video, basically one of the cast members, Shane, tried to communicate with some spirits by saying ‘Hey there Demons, its me, ya boy.”
