Gardaí Appealing For Witnesses As Two Young Men Killed In Separate Accidents

Two young men have died following road traffic accidents in counties Leitrim and Mayo yesterday morning and afternoon respectively, according to the Irish Independent.

One of the men, believed to be in his 30s, collided his motorbike  with a car in Cloonchair, Mohill, County Leitrim on Saturday morning around 11:20am.

In another separate incident, a young man was also killed following a road traffic accident in Mayo on Saturday afternoon.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was killed in a single vehicle accident on the N5 between Carracastle and Charlestown at approximately 4pm.

Both men have been removed to hospital for post-mortem examinations.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Claremorris Garda Station on 094 9372080.
