A man has been arrested after ammunition and drugs were discovered buried in a field in Wexford yesterday.
Gardaí had deployed sniffer dogs who made the discovery, the Irish Examiner reported.
Cannabis worth an estimated street value of €5,000, as well a car parked near the scene were seized by Gardaí.
Officers arrested a man at the scene in the Ballycarney area late last night.
The man, who is believed to be in his late 30s, was taken to Enniscorthy garda station.
Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
