Good Weather News – Things Are Set To Improve Later This Week

Alana Laverty

A little bit of August sunshine is coming our way. Thanks be to God.

By the looks of things rain will continue today and throughout the night in Munster, according to Met Éireann.

There’ll be fog in the west and south and gradual winds throughout the country.

Tomorrow will remain much of the same with misty conditions, rain and wind but will be mild and humid – how irritating. Make up your mind, weather.

BUT for the rest of the week it looks like things might actually improve.

Yippeee.

‘Wednesday will be mainly dry countrywide with sunny spells. There may be just one or two light showers in Atlantic coastal counties. It will be rather warm with highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees and light southerly breezes, the breeze a little fresher along the coast.

Thursday will start off mainly dry with sunny spells. However, rain will spread into Western parts during the day reaching the East in the evening or after dark. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in moderate Southerly breezes.’

The end of the week is set to be colder but still nice.

‘At the moment Friday looks breezy with the winds turning to the Southwest, and feeling a little fresher with a mixture of sunshine and showers.’

Fingers crossed we’ll get a lil sun.
