The June Bank Holiday is one of the busiest on the calendar, with festivals talking place all over the country.

From Forbidden Fruit to Bloom, you definitely won’t be short of something to do but the weather will play a big role in whether you’re indoors or outdoors!

According to Met Éireann, tomorrow will be “a much brighter day” and will see good spells of sunshine and while there will be “scattered passing showers”, many areas may stay fully dry for the day.

Temperatures will be between 14 to 18 degrees and will stay in this range for the weekend, with a mix of bright sunshine and passing heavy showers to be expected.

“The showers will be most frequent across the western half of the country through the mornings and early afternoon, tracking eastwards in turn later each day. Showers will be more frequent on Sunday into Monday, at which point some of the showers may even turn thundery,” said a spokesperson.
