Here’s Where Ireland Ranks Among The Happiest Nations On Earth

The World Happiness Report was published this morning, revealing just where Ireland ranks among the happiest nations on the planet. 

Based on a number of factors which contribute to everyday contentment such as income, life expectancy, social support and absence of corruption, Norway came out on top. 

They must be a sound bunch of lads up there in Northern Europe because the Norwegians were closely followed neighbours by Denmark and Iceland. Switzerland and Finland came in fourth and fifth respectively. 

So where do we rank? Despite the mass hangover we’re all experiencing after a long weekend of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, Ireland comes in at a respectable enough 15th position. Just behind us are Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
