Storm Eleanor is raging across the country and causing flooding in various areas including Galway and Cork

The heavy rainfall and high wind speeds have also led to power outages, and the ESB has warned customers to charge their phones and tablets in case of an emergency.

Power supply has been interrupted in Donegal, Mayo and Cavan so far, with estimated repair times between 9pm and 9.15pm.

The ESB also warned the public not to touch any damaged or fallen wires and to ring 1850372999 or 353 212382410 for assistance if needed.
