IKEA looks set to open its second full retail store in the Republic of Ireland.
The world’s largest furniture retailer has been scouting for a new location in Ireland over the last year and now it appears that East Cork may be their new home. It’s thought that the site will be close to the rail line at Carrigtwohill.
The opening of the new location would create around 500 jobs in the area, according to Irishexaminer.com.
Know anyone who’d be delighted to see the Swedish giant set up shop in the area? Let us know in the comments.
