Someone In Ireland Has Just Won The Massive Irish Lotto Main Jackpot

Ireland has a brand new millionaire as the numbers for the Irish Lotto were made on Wednesday night.

The main jackpot, worth over €2m, was won with the ticket being sold in the mid-west of the country.

The numbers for the €2,775,644 jackpot were:

1, 5, 19, 24, 27, 42 and the bonus of 44.

There was no winner in the Lotto Plus 1 draw and the numbers in that were:

2, 5, 7, 16, 17, 26 and 28.

There was no winners in the Lotto Plus 2 draw either and the numbers in that were:

3, 8, 16, 18, 19, 24 and 45

Yesterday, a mouth-watering prize was collected from the National Lottery also as a delighted Westmeath man who claimed one of the largest ever Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prizes which was worth a massive €516,688.

The Westmeath native described how he watched the draw unfold live on TV as he saw all but one of his lucky numbers come up one after another:

“It was absolutely mad. I was at home watching the draw and I was giving a running commentary as my numbers came up. I said – oh, there’s one. There’s two. There’s three…it was like something you’d see on a film.

“I knew I’d won a decent prize but I never expected it to be over a half million euro. It’s come at the perfect time for Christmas so it’ll definitely be put to good use, that’s for sure,” he said.

The winning ticket was sold at the Daybreak store in Moyleroe in the small village of Delvin in Co. Westmeath. Similar to the Lotto jackpot prize, the Match 5 + Bonus prize fund is carried forward in each draw if there is no winner.

The prize pool had been rolling since Wednesday 7th November and was set to hit a record breaking level before the lucky Westmeath man claimed the humongous prize.
