Ireland Set To Be Hit With More Hard Freezing Weather And Snow Yet Again

Darragh Berry

That was a nice few days we had where nobody mentioned the words snow or freezing or ice or minus degrees.

Ah well.

The outlook from Met Éireann looks like we’re going to be hit with more wintry weather this coming week.

Temperatures will fall on Tuesday night to a low -3 degrees in places, with widespread frost. It will be coldest in the east and the midlands.

Wednesday will pick up again with temperatures of 7-9 degrees and promises of dry and bright skies.

The same temperatures will follow for Thursday and Friday with some chances of rain (shock) but the weekend looks set to take an even further dip in degrees..

Met Éireann have said that the details of further outlook remains uncertain and will be monitored for detail but at the moment, it seems like there is a risk of temps below freezing and risks of heavy snow showers along the east and south coast.

So, if you see a weather warning later in the week, don’t be surprised.
