Irish Ship Rescues 140 Migrants From A Vessel Off Libya

The LÉ Samuel Beckett has assisted in the rescue of 140 migrants off Libya. 

The migrants were in a rubber vessel in the Mediterranean Sea off Libya when they were rescued and taken aboard the LÉ Samuel Beckett.

They given food, water and, in some cases, medical treatment. 

The LÉ Samuel Beckett have been assisting rescue missions in the Med since September and has rescued over 3,000 people since then. 

Fair play lads.
