It Looks Like Ireland Will Be Getting A Heatwave This Week

James Fenton

Prepare to whack on the factor 50 because weather experts are predicting that a mini-heatwave will be landing in Ireland this week.

According to Met Éireann , temperatures could soar to 20 degrees today, particularly in eastern areas while scattered showers are still expected.

Tomorrow will be a humid affair as the forecast states:

“Very mild and humid on Tuesday. Mostly cloudy and a little patchy rain or drizzle will occur in places but it will be mostly dry. Some brighter periods will develop later in the day and some sunny spells will break through in some parts. Afternoon highs of 17 to 21 degrees Celsius, highest in parts of the south and east.”

The humid, sticky weather is expected to last until the weekend so our advice is to leave the jacket at home.
