Spicer has previously been mooted for the vacant role and Irish Central have revisited the possibility in light of his resignaiton.
The 45-year-old has been open about being a proud Irishman in the past and his great grandfather emigrated to the States from Kinsale, Co. Cork.

Sean Spicer resigned. Does this increase or decrease his chance of being ambassador to Ireland or will it be a few more years till we get 1?
