PIC: The Weekly Irish Sunday Tweet That Will Get Rid Of ‘The Fear’ And Get You Perfectly Set Up For The Week

There’s nothing more fearful than sitting in your bed at 1am, scrolling frantically through your phone because you know if you go to sleep, tomorrow will be Monday.

There’s a few ways of easing ‘The Fear’ on a Sunday. Some people organise their emails for work for Monday, others binge on television for the day and try to clear the thoughts of a new week out of their mind completely.

For me, I make sure to have a look at Karl Henry’s Sunday night tweet.

The Personal Trainer and Television Broadcaster who is most famous for his contribution on Operation Transformation makes a ‘list’ every Sunday for the week ahead.

It’s almost a to-do list that outlines little easy ‘goals’ for people to hit from Monday to Friday or possibly Saturday if they want to be extra good.

The ‘goals’ are often very easy to complete: ‘Smile at 5 people in the street’, ‘hop on one leg while waiting for the kettle to boil’.

Some are more thoughtful like ‘sweat for 30 mins per day’ or a personal favourite among anyone who follows the tweets: ‘have sex twice this week’.

Karl told us that he used to plan out his weeks like this for years and one day decided to share his weekly plans on Twitter:

“So I plan out my week on Sunday myself and one week came up with some tips for clients and decided to put it up on twitter/Instagram and it took off from there, they have to have impact on people’s health but be fun too.

“It can be challenging ,there is always one or two surprise challenges each week but I enjoy the challenge [of making new lists], especially now it gets so many likes.”
