Kerry Pubs To Open Early Tomorrow Especially For GAA Finals

Sarah

If ever you needed proof that GAA rules the country, the news that bars in Killarney, Kerry, are allowed open early for the football finals confirms it.

The Irish Mirror reports that a special exemption licence was granted by the District Court in Killarney that will allow bars to open at 11am tomorrow morning, a full hour and a half before regular hours.

Pubs originally asked to open at 10am to allow for the tens of thousands of GAA fans to warm up to watch the matches throughout the day, but a compromise of 11am was agreed upon.

It’s gonna be on hell of a day down there.
