You might have noticed a lack of chill in the air in recent days and if this week's forecast is to be believed then we may as well get used to it.

Met Éireann is predicting a major rise in temperatures this week with the mercury expected to reach as high as 15 degrees on Friday. Moving into the weekend, the decent weather is expected to continue on Saturday but 'persistent rain developing across the western half of the country overnight but it is expected to hold dry further east.'

On Sunday, 'it is expected to hold dry across many eastern and northeastern counties until evening time' despite some rain early in the day.

We'll take that, says you. A more detailed outlook can be found here.
