Let’s get one thing out of the way: we don’t deserve dogs.
Even the mere sight of one on your walk home will leave you feeling #blessed.
They love to shower us with affection, and us them.
But it seems that may not be the best thing for our health.
According to the Mirror UK, letting a dog lick your face could potentially be life-threatening.
When you think about it, your dog’s face (and tongue) go everywhere: in the bin, on the ground outside, in bushes, where they can pick up any sort of bacteria which is then transferred to you when they give you big, sloppy kisses.
It’s thought that you could catch a sepsis infection or ringworm.
Does this mean we will stop hugging our pups?
Hardly. But maybe be a bit more mindful about the PDA…
