There are so many upsides to having a couple of drinks but that one big inevitable downside is always there waiting to hit you the next morning… The hangover.
Well the good folk in Lidl might just have solved that after they launched a Prosecco that is being called “hangover free”.
The Organic Prosecco Spumante has just hit the shops but it is expected to sell out quickly.
So how does it work?
Lidl’s master of wine, Richard Bampfield, explains that this bottle contains less sulphate preservatives, which are the bad bits responsible for causing hangovers from hell. They are added to wine and Prosecco to make them last longer.
“Generally, organic wine producers use a lower level of sulphites in the production process, which means they are less likely to contribute to hangovers.
“So if you don’t react well to sulphites you could be saying good riddance to hangovers with Lidl’s Organic Prosecco Spumante.”
