Lidl Ireland is recalling all batches of What’s Cooking? Meat Free Mince, due to the possible presence of small pieces of blue plastic. The implicated batches were sold in Lidl stores across the country.
According to the FSAI website, point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores.
The Meat Free Mince is a meat substitute suitable for vegetarians, similar to Quorn or tofu.
The recall refers to the product What’s Cooking? Meat Free Mince (pictured above), product size is 454g, and all batch codes and ‘best-before’ dates.
