Irish Man Finds Human Remains In His Garden After Graveyard Slides Into His Home

mariemadden

A man in County Meath has discovered human remains in his back garden, after a nearby cemetery started to seep into his property.

According to Independent.ie, Frank Taaffe was left facing several bones and even a skull after a wall separating the two sites began to move.

It’s believed that rainwater has softened the ground over time, leading to the macabre encroachment into his home.

Concerns have also been raised by local councillors that the remains of people being buried at the cemetery are being exhumed as part of the land movement, which would cause distress to the families.

They are calling for funding to be made available as soon as possible to rectify the situation.
