Man In Cork In Critical Condition After He Was Hit By Rollercoaster

A man in his 30’s in Cork who was working at a carnival has been rushed to hospital after he was injured whilst constructing a rollercoaster at an amusement park in Cork City.

A piece of the rollercoaster fell and struck him at the site on Pearse Road.

According to the Irish Independent, the man was brought to hospital via ambulance where he is in a critical condition. 

A spokesman for the Health and Safety Authority confirmed that they were aware of the incident, saying that “we have been notified and inspectors have been sent to the scene.”
