Mayweather’s Ex Releases Statement Asking McGregor To Stop Exploiting Domestic Violence

The ex-girlfriend of Floyd Mayweather Jr. has released a statement asking Conor McGregor to refrain from exploiting the boxer’s history of domestic abuse for publicity.

In the build up to the much-publicised fight between the two men, McGregor has made a number of social media references to basketball star C.J. Watson who is said to have been involved in the breakdown of Mayweather’s relationship with Josie Harris.

In 2010, the Mayweather was imprisoned for two months for a domestic abuse incident towards Harris with whom he has three children.

In recent weeks and months, McGregor has attempted to antagonise Mayweather by bringing up the name of Watson and last week he was even photographed sporting a number 23 Golden State Warriors jersey which Watson used to wear for the California team.
