Met Éireann is forecasting some cold nights ahead, with weekend temperatures set to drop to as low as minus one. While Thursday should be a dry and bright day, rain is expected to fall on Friday night and into Saturday morning.
Sunny spells will then develop throughout Saturday, although temperatures will only reach a relatively cool 10 degrees. Sunday will have cloudy periods and both weekend nights are predicted to be cold ones, with lows of minus one to two degrees as well as widespread frost and some fog.
It might have seemed like spring had arrived but it seems we aren’t quite there yet. A more detailed outlook can be found here.
