Met Éireann has issued a new status-yellow weather that will affect 19 counties over the weekend, as heavy rainfall and strong winds are on the way.
The warning, which stated that Munster, Leinster and Galway will experience southwest to west winds that could reach speeds of between 55 and 65 km/h, with possible gusts of up to 110 km/h.
The warning is set to come into effect around from 3pm until 8pm on Saturday evening.
There will also be rainfall of between 30 and 40 mm in Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal for the entire day on Saturday.
So, if you were thinking of venturing out this weekend, it might be best to stay inside, cosy up to the fire, and avoid that dreadful weather.
