Met Éireann Predicts Temperatures Will Top 20 Degrees Over Easter Weekend

James Fenton

In terms of weather, it’s difficult to recall a Monday as miserable as this one. Commuters were battered by wind and rain as they made their way to work this morning and it’s probably going to be the same on the way home.

There is reason for hope though as Met Éireann is forecasting that the mercury will rise to a relatively sweltering 20 degrees on Good Friday.

Before that, it looks like today will be the last of the truly bad weather with sunny spells taking hold from tomorrow when we will see highs of 15 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday will be bright and sunny as well with the latter seeing highs of 18 degrees before Good Friday tops the 20 degree mark.

Saturday and Sunday is also expected to be ‘very good, but rain is likely on Monday.’
