Met Éireann has warned that this week is set to be a windy one with rain starting to take hold from this afternoon.
Showery rain will fall in places before becoming more persistent later tonight. Tomorrow is set to be cloudy and misty with more heavy rain with the worst affected areas set to be the south and south-east of the country.
Wet and windy is the order of the day on both Thursday and Friday with thinks thankfully expected to clear up before the weekend.
