Footage of a motorcyclists clashing with a Bus Éireann bus on Monday, 28th May has emerged online.
The clip - which was posted by Tal Tallon Gaming on YouTube shows stop-starting traffic along an Irish motorway.
As the traffic takes off again, two motorbikes can be seen coming from the middle lane, switching to the right hand lane (left-hand side in the video) before switching to the very outer bus lane (on the right-hand side in the video),
The first motorbike switches into the bus lane successfully but the second motorbike hits the front of the bus just as it was about to cut into the lane.
Two people get out of their cars immediately to attend to the people involved in the incident.
A spokesperson from Bus Éireann told Lovin Media Group that:
"A motorbike, while changing lanes and entering the designated bus lane along the M7, collided with the 16.30 Route 126 (Dublin – Kildare) service.
"The collision occurred at 17.10 and the scene was attended by the emergency services.
“There was no damage to the Bus Éireann coach, and no passenger injuries were reported.
"An Garda Síochána are investigating the incident.”
