Murder Investigation In Kerry After Fatal Collision

A murder investigation has begun in Kerry after a man in his 70s died this morning following a collision between a car and a teleporter vehicle.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Rattoo in Ballyduff at 8.45am, where the driver of the car was pronounced dead, the Irish Examiner reported.

The teleporter driver, who is in his 60s, is unhurt but has been arrested and is being detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Listowel Garda station.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene at Rattoo in Ballyduff at 8.45am, and the driver of the car, who was in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
