The Second Day of The National Ploughing Championship has been cancelled due to public safety concerns.
The opening of the site had been delayed for two hours on Wednesday from 9am to 11am before eventually being cancelled just before 12pm.
A spokesperson for the Ploughing Association said that the safety of the public is the most important factor to consider today.
Some reports are saying that tents and portaloos have been knocked over on the site which attracted over 100,000 people from all around the country on day one.
It’s time to head home! https://t.co/FygblWZaRz
