New figures from the quarterly rental report by Daft.ie have come out.
The average nationwide rent has gone up to €1,391 which is an all-time high.
On top of this, availability is at its lowest since 2006.
Dublin’s increase has slowed down while places like Cork, Limerick, and Waterford have jumped up.

Rent, across the country, is much higher than an average mortgage repayment. Dublin’s average rent is €2,064 while the average mortgage is €1,488 which is a 139% difference.
