We were treated to a bit of a September surprise over the weekend as temperatures soared around the country, with Sunday in particular seeing the mercury hit the heights.
There’s some good news this Monday morning as it seems that the nice weather is going to stick around for most of the week meaning we wouldn’t be putting away the suncream just yet. According to Met Éireann, today will remain warm and humid with top temperatures of 22 degrees which is great news for anyone not stuck working from home.
Tuesday looks even better, with highs of 23 degrees, although there will be a couple of scattered showers throughout the day. Wednesday will see the weather continuing to be mild with highs of 22 before a slight drop-off to 20 degrees on Thursday.
Even next weekend looks promising enough with ‘largely dry and settled conditions’ expected but remember, if you are looking to avail of the nice weather, we are still being encouraged to keep our distance in order to slow the spread of Covid-19. More information can be found on the HSE website here.
