No Deal Reached In Tense Ryanair Talks

Jen

This has been one helluva summer for strikes.

And it’s not over yet as talks between Ryanair and the union representing the pilots, Forsa, have ended earlier this morning without a deal.

Luckily, talks are set to resume later this week in an effort to reach a final deal.

According to Newstalk, Forsa said they expected to meet Ryanair later in the week.

No further comments were made as Mediator Kieran Mulvey has directed both sides to refrain from commenting.

The talks are on the back of five strike days by Dublin-based pilots, which have disrupted hundreds of passengers throughout the summer.

No further strikes are planned, but more strikes could go ahead if a final deal is not reached in this round of negotiations.

Fingers crossed they come to an agreement.
