WATCH: Offaly Father Of The Bride Has Crowd In Bits With His Surprise Ed Sheeran Song

Ahh, fathers of the bride. They make dodgy speeches, they cry, and they always have slightly odd dance moves. 

One Offaly father though, has gone all out with a surprise mash-up performance of Ed Sheeran’s  ‘Perfect’ and Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.’ 

As newlyweds Lou Cusack and Padraig Byrne settled themselves down during the ceremony for singer Simon Casey to perform, they were treated to a shocker when Lou’s dad, John, stood up behind them in the crown and belted out the rest of the song.

John has never sung in public before and had been secretly rehearsing for seven weeks – needless to say everyone was shook 

Mostly laughter. Some tears. All the craic.
