Tayto crisps are dear to the hearts of every one in the nation, we all know that.
The fact that Ireland has its very own Tayto Park theme park is testament to how obsessed we are with those little fried potato discs of glory, and ever since the park opened in 2010 it’s become a hugely popular place for people to visit and ride their wild rollarcoasters – and see their wild animals.
And now, now guys, they’ve announced that there will soon be a special Tayto Hotel on site with 250 bedrooms.
The hotel will have a spa, meeting rooms and a function room that could accommodate up to 1,200 people.
The best bit? A spokesperson also told The Irish Mirror that it will have two sky bars and three restaurants.
Let that sink in: Sky. Bars. <3
Here’s what the expected finished work will look like:

Pretty sweet isn’t it? This would be the perfect weekend getaway either with the kids or with a gang of mates for a day spent gallivanting around the park, and a night out in nearby Ashbourne.
We’re excited (and hoping that Mr.Tayto will be on reception desk.)
