British Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed that one Irish person was injured in yesterday’s Westminster attack in which four people lost their lives.

Speaking in Parliament this morning, Mrs. May said an Irish citizen was among the victims admitted to hospital along with 12 British people, three French children, two Romanians, four South Koreans, one Chinese, one Italian, one American and two Greeks.

Yesterday, a man drove a vehicle into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before stabbing a police officer outside the Houses of Parliament. He was subsequently shot by armed police.
