Over €70K Worth Of Coins Was Stolen From A Wexford Amusement Centre

Over €70,000 was stolen from an amusement centre in Wexford over the weekend.

Robbers broke into Courtown Amusement Centre after disarming the alarm system in the early hours of Saturday morning, the Journal has reported. 

They stole roughly €70k, most of which was in coins, from slot machines in the centre.

There was about €270,000 worth of criminal damage done to the arcade as it was left littered with broken glass and debris from the machines.

CCTV footage from a nearby location revealed that the robbers made their getaway in a car, however, no arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
